Using Layout and User Preferences

NextGen® Enterprise EHR layout comprises menus and toolbars such as Title bar, Main menu, Top toolbar, and Status bar. You can set the user preferences and work with patient encounters and categories. You can also view the calendars and icons, and access the Alerts module, if the Patient Information Card (PIC) is enabled.

The PIC in NextGen® Enterprise EHR provides the following information.

Patient general information
Patient demographics information
Patient medical summary information
Encounter-based information

NextGen® Enterprise comes with an integrated spelling checker that automatically detects and corrects spelling errors as you type alphanumeric characters in certain text fields. You can use the spelling checker only on editable fields.
