Modify Layout and Preferences NextGen® Enterprise EHR

You can modify a configuration for the layout that you want to display on NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Application Appearance. The EHR Application Appearance window opens displaying the preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories for the Default configuration. Select the required configuration from the list. Note: The EHR Application Appearance window displays a preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories based on the settings in the selected configuration. To view a configuration associated with a practice, select Look up by Practice, select a practice from the list, and then select OK. The configuration associated with the practice appears in the configurations list. Note: Once you associate a practice with a configuration, it cannot be associated with any other configuration. You can create a layout configuration that you want to display on NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Application Appearance. The Edit EHR Application Appearance Configuration window opens. Enter a name for your configuration. Set up the Patient Info, Quick Buttons, and Encounter History information as required. Select Save. A preview of the added configuration appears. To view the list of practices available to associations with the configuration, select Look up by Practice on the Edit EHR Application Appearance Configuration window. Note: Once you associate a practice with a configuration, it cannot be associated with any other configuration. Manage Practice-Level Configurations of Quick Buttons

You can customize the Quick Buttons panel at the practice level with System Administrator rights in File Maintainance. You can show or hide buttons that appear on the Quick Buttons panel and also re-arrange their sequence. You can also grant user-level permission to hide a button on the Quick Buttons panel. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Application Appearance. The EHR Application Appearance window opens displaying the preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories for the Default configuration. Before you begin Ensure that you have the necessary user-level permissions to view and modify buttons on the Quick Buttons panel. You can show or hide buttons on the Quick Buttons panel and also re-arrange their sequence to your preference. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. On the Quick Buttons panel, select .The My Quick Button Settings window opens. To add a button to the Quick Buttons panel, select Select Buttons, select the button to add from the list, and then select Apply. To remove a button on the Quick Buttons panel, do one of the following: Select corresponding to the button to remove, and then select Apply. Select Select Buttons, clear the check box for the button to remove, and then select Apply. To change the order of the buttons, select and drag the buttons to the preferred location, and select Apply. To restore the practice preference settings, select Reset to Practice Settings. Delete Layout Configuration for NextGen® Enterprise EHR

You can delete an existing layout configuration for NextGen® Enterprise EHR in File Maintenance. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Application Appearance. The EHR Application Appearance window opens displaying the preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories for the Default configuration. From the list of configurations, select the configuration you want to delete. Select Delete.A confirmation window appears . Select Yes to permanently delete the configuration.
