Modify Layout and Preferences NextGen® Enterprise EHR
You can modify a configuration for the layout that you want to display on NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Open File Maintenance.
- Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Application Appearance.
The EHR Application Appearance window opens displaying the preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories for the Default configuration.
- Select the required configuration from the list.
Note: The EHR Application Appearance window displays a preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories based on the settings in the selected configuration.
- To view a configuration associated with a practice, select Look up by Practice, select a practice from the list, and then select OK.
The configuration associated with the practice appears in the configurations list.
Note: Once you associate a practice with a configuration, it cannot be associated with any other configuration. - Select Edit.
The Edit EHR Application Appearance Configuration window opens.
- Make the necessary changes to the configuration for Patient Info, Quick Buttons, and Encounter History, and then select Save.
A preview of the updated configuration appears.
- To modify practice associations for the selected configuration, select Edit Practice Associations.
Note: Edit Practice Associations is not available in the Default configuration.
The Default configuration includes practices that are not associated with any configuration. The default configuration can be reset to practice default configuration.
- On the Practice Associations window, drag a practice from the Available Practices section to the Practices in this Configuration section.
- Select Save.
- To remove a practice, you can double-click or drag the practice from the Practices in this Configuration section to the Available Practices section and then select Save.
