Family Unit

The Family Unit module enables you to group patients together under a certain name or category. You can use this module in a number of different ways, from grouping family members to grouping patients undergoing a selected study. NextGen® Enterprise EHR allows an unlimited number of family units, as well as an unlimited number of members in each unit. A patient can be a member of one or more units at the same time. Create Layout and Preferences for NextGen® Enterprise EHR

You can create a layout configuration that you want to display on NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open File Maintenance. Select New.The Edit EHR Application Appearance Configuration window opens. Enter a name for your configuration. Set up the Patient Info, Quick Buttons, and Encounter History information as required. Select Save.A preview of the added configuration appears. To view the list of practices available to associations with the configuration, select Look up by Practice on the Edit EHR Application Appearance Configuration window. Note: Once you associate a practice with a configuration, it cannot be associated with any other configuration. To associate practices with the new configuration, select the configuration from the list, and then select Edit Practice Associations.The Practice Associations window opens. From the Available Practices section, double-click or drag a practice to the Practice Associations section. Select Save. To remove a practice, you can double-click or drag the
