View Patient Alerts

You can view a quick list of all available NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM alerts for the patient on the Patient Information Card (PIC). You can also open the Patient Alerts window to view, acknowledge, add, edit, snooze, and remove the patient's NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM alerts.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window.
  2. To view a quick list of available alerts for the patient; on the PIC, hover over Alerts.
    The Alerts table appears listing the patient alerts by type and description. Alerts that require acknowledgement, appear at the top of the list, denoted by red-colored text and the indicator.
  3. To view the available patient alerts on separate NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM tabs, select the Alerts.
    The Patient Alerts window opens where you can acknowledge, add, edit, or remove any alerts.
