Application and Patient Information

The title bar appears at the top of NextGen® Enterprise EHR main window and displays the application and patient name. When you open a module, the module name also appears on the title bar. If you open other items, such as templates, documents, or images, the item name and time stamp appear on the title bar. In case of images, the image dimensions also appear. You can display the following additional patient identifiers based on your practice preferences settings. Edit Menu

The Edit menu enables you to find, select, and edit patient images, documents, and templates. Some Edit menu options are visible only when specific modules are active. Field Description Clear Delete Undo Standard Microsoft® Windows® commands available for all items. Cut Select All Standard Microsoft Windows commands available when images or documents are open. The NextGen® Enterprise EHR File menu includes the following options. File Option Description New Enables you to create an encounter, case, custom encounter, addendum, group encounter, patient, person, insurance, image, template, document, and referral, and also lock an encounter.
