Tools Menu
The following Tools menu options are available:
| Tools Option | Description |

| Document Builder | Opens the Document Builder (HighEdit or TX Text Control) module. |
| Document Export | Available only with the Document Builder HighEdit Control. Accesses the Document Export utility to export document formats to another database. |
| Document Import | Available only with the Document Builder HighEdit Control. Accesses the Document Import utility to import document formats to another database. |
| Eligibility | Designates a payer as primary, secondary, or tertiary. |
| Trace Triggers | Available only with the Templates module active. Enables tracing of template triggers. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Templates User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR . |
| Top Toolbar | Enables customization of the Top Toolbar. |
| Spelling | Available only with the Documents module active. Enables Spell check. |
| Enc. Dual Coding | Opens the Encounter Dual Coding window. Enables you to specify that the ICD-9 codes from a selected patient encounter are mapped to corresponding ICD-10 codes on the encounter and vice versa. The button is available on open and locked encounters. Dual Coding compares the diagnoses on the encounter with previous mappings to determine whether ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes have already been mapped for the encounter. | Preferences | Opens the Preferences window. |
| Medication History Consent | Available only with the Medications module active. Displays the Medication History Consent window. |
| Medication Renewals | Available only with the Medications module active. Displays the Medication Renewal window |
