Select and Import Documents

You can view the documents identified by a search and select which ones to import. In the Completed pane, select the Search Date value for an entry. Search Date A document list pane opens on the right. The title bar of the pane begins with the name of the endpoint that was queried. Document List Pane To hide previously imported documents, select Only Display New Documents and Documents Ready To Be Imported. For health information exchange (HIE) endpoints, this option filters out documents that were imported previously. For Carequality, this option also filters out documents that are downloading in the background and are not yet ready for import. To view child documents nested under parent documents, select Document Relationship View. To view any single document, select the entry in the Title column. The document opens in CDA Viewer. The Documents panel contains a list of categories for documents that were imported from an external system, (such as an Health Information Exchange (HIE)), and completed request for patient medication history files from an ePrescribing vendor (such as SureScripts®). The number and names of categories are set up during NextGen® Clinical Interface Bundle and/or ePrescribing implementation and may vary. Launch the Clinical Reconciliation module from NextGen® Enterprise EHR, the Data Share module, or the Medical Summary Utility. In the Documents pane, select HIE Documents (Sent) or HIE Documents, then select one of the listed documents. Launch Reconciliation from NextGen® Enterprise EHR

Before you begin To perform a clinical reconciliation from NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you must first import a patient's Continuity of Care Document (CCD) or Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA), or have completed a patient medication history request. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient. To reconcile all clinical data for a patient (referred to as All mode), select Clinical Reconciliation from the View menu. Note: You can also access the Clinical Reconciliation module in All mode from the Medication Review pop up template, a customized Medical Records or Demographics template or pop up. For more information on templates, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Templates User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR. To reconcile specific clinical data, such as medications or problems or results (referred to as Module mode), select the appropriate module and then select the Reconcile button. Open the Full Reconciliation Module

You can use the full Clinical Reconciliation module rather than the one-click reconciliation feature for any of the following tasks: See the full set of data columns for each clinical item, rather than just the most commonly useful columns. Reconcile items from multiple Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) documents simultaneously. Reconcile resolved medications, allergies, or problems, not just the currently active items. Replace or delete any previously imported items. View reconciliation history.
