Before you begin
To perform a clinical reconciliation from
NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you must first import a patient's Continuity of Care Document (CCD) or Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA), or have completed a patient medication history request.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Select a patient.
- To reconcile all clinical data for a patient (referred to as All mode), select Clinical Reconciliation from the View menu.
Note: You can also access the Clinical Reconciliation module in
All mode from the
Medication Review pop up template, a customized Medical Records or Demographics template or pop up. For more information on templates, go to

- To reconcile specific clinical data, such as medications or problems or results (referred to as Module mode), select the appropriate module and then select the Reconcile button.
The Clinical Reconciliation window opens, and displays only clinical data corresponding to the module you came from.
- You can now select documents to view and reconcile clinical data.
