Finalize Visit template

You can configure the following for the Finalize Visit template.

  • Dictate button and No Dictation check box. You can use the Dictate button to perform dictation. If dictation is not required, you can select the No Dictation check box. You can configure the dictation features in the Dictation panel on the Practice Configuration template.
  • Office visit sent by mobile check box. This check box enables you to bypass the office visit code if the office visit code is being submitted by NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and it appears only if the provider approval queue (PAQ) is configured for the current location. You can configure the PAQ functionality in the Submit & Signoff panel on the Miscellaneous Configuration template.
  • Submit button. You can use this button to submit charges on the Finalize Visit template. The Submit button appears only if your security group is configured in the Submit & Signoff panel of the Miscellaneous Configuration template.
  • Provider signoff and Supervisor signoff checkboxes. If the PAQ functionality is not configured for your location, the checkboxes appear to help you approve as a provider or supervisor. If the PAQ functionality is configured, the checkboxes do not appear, and you can use the PAQ functionality to provide your approval. By default, the Submit button and the checkboxes appear for rendering providers without any configuration.
  • Send to Supervising Physician button. This button enables you to submit the encounter to a supervising provider for review. You can configure the Send to Supervising Physician button in the Finalize Visit Settings panel on the Practice Configuration template.
  • Administrative Override check box. Selecting this check box helps you make changes to the submitted charges. You can configure the administrative override permission in the Admin Override panel on the Practice Configuration template.
