Templates Used for Ophthalmology Configuration

The following templates are used for configuring settings and content for Ophthalmology. Template Description Eye Configuration This practice template is where you configure settings specific to the Ophthalmology specialty. Practice Configuration Practice-level template used for configuring practice preferences for the functioning of important features throughout the system by selecting from options currently available. You can set the pronoun to be used in concatenation for the HPI and enable gender related details to appear in the chart note. System and Practice Templates Used for Ophthalmology Configuration

System and practice templates allow clients to configure different functions and features of the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine to meet their own preferences without having to make customizations to templates using Template Editor. The following templates are used for configurations by all specialties: Field Description Framework Content System-level template used for configuring content and navigation on the Framework Template Set and specialty template sets based on the Framework templates. Managing Practice Configurations

You can configure settings for specific specialties or all specialties using the Practice Configuration template. The Practice Configuration template is the central location for configuring settings for the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine templates of different specialties. You can set default options and configure certain features in the run-time templates.
