Your practice can use the Practice Configuration template to configure certain settings to form the default options in the framework template set of various specialties. Open the Practice Configuration Template

You can browse the Practice Configuration template to edit a patient's record. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System\Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Select the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All .A list of practice level templates appears. Select Practice Configuration, and then select OK.The Practice Configuration template opens. Basic Configuration in the System or Practice Templates

You can configure basic settings using the System or Practice templates. You can configure basic settings and setup procedures such as instructions to set template preferences, add links on the templates, configure task recipient, customize reasons for visit, and so on. Access the Practice Configuration Template

You can open the Practice Configuration practice template in NextGen® Enterprise EHR to configure Evaluation and Management (E&M) coding guidelines. For more information on the Practice Configuration template, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Practice Configuration Template User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Select the Practice tab. If the Practice Configuration template is not in your Preferred templates list, in the Show section, select the All option. A list of practice templates appears.
