Open the Manage Procedure Groups and Codes Practice Template

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. On the Select Template window, click the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All to see a complete list of practice templates. To access the Manage Procedure Groups and Codes practice template, do one of the following: Double-click Manage Procedure Groups and Codes. Manage Hard-Coded Procedure Codes

You can use the Manage Procedure Groups and Codes practice template during the annual CPT® and HCPCS code updates to replace the hard-coded CPT, HCPCS, and SIMS codes with procedure groups or a default code. In addition, you can create procedure groups using Service Categories from File Maintenance.
