Configuration for Scheduling Documentation

The ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template is used to configure screening questions, tasks, and patient instructions for scheduling documentation. The template is packaged with preset options for the Ambulatory Surgery (ASC) Specialty. An ASC enterprise can modify these preset configurations for different locations or apply the same elements for all practices within the enterprise. Access the ASC Preadmission Activity Config Practice Template

From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. On the Select Template window, click the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All to see a complete list of practice templates. To access the Access the ASC Preadmission Activity Config template, do one of the following: Double-click Access the ASC Preadmission Activity Config. Select Access the ASC Preadmission Activity Config and then click OK. The Access the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template opens. Associate Procedures to Preadmission Questions

On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Procedure Association panel, Content Type filter, select Interview Questions. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. Click Section and select a section from the list. To clear the chosen section, click Section again and select the top-blank row in the list to type a section name. Click the Question field to open a list of screening questions associated with the chosen section. The screening questions are configured in the Interview Questions panel. Patient Pre Admission Instructions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel displays the patient instructions associated with a procedure and a section. In addition to the pre-configured default instructions, when you answer a scheduling screening question associated with the section on the Interview Questions panel, the configured patient instruction for the selected answer appears in the grid on the Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel. The pre-admission instructions are pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template.
