Patient History for Post-Operative Visits

You can associate surgical procedures with post-operative visits, and document a patient's history for post-operative visits. On the Non Billable Visit template, in the History panel, you can associate surgical procedures to the post-operative visit. The Past Orthopedic Surgeries grid in this panel displays the details of the patient's previous surgeries. You can document the following details of the patient for the post-operative visit. Last injection Pain Associated symptoms Ambulatory aids and braces Function and activity levels Sports and hobbies Employer details Medications and allergies History panel on the Non Billable Visit template You can use the Overflow Type section to add additional symptoms, ambulatory aids and braces, and function and activity levels if the fields in their respective sections are insufficient. The intake staff uses the Intake template to document a patient's chief complaint, vital signs, medications, allergies, standing orders, and various other findings that may not have already been recorded on the Home Page - ORT template. Documenting General Information of Patients You can document a patient's general information on the Intake template. Document Interpreter Details You can document the answers for the pre-configured questions. Document Configurable Questionnaires You can document the answers for the preconfigured questions on the Additional Visit Information template. Patient's Reason for Visit You can document a patient's reasons for visit. The intake staff workflow involves documenting the patient encounter on the Intake and Histories templates. The information documented by the intake staff is used by the provider for reference and to proceed with the encounter. Intake Panel Description General You can document the patient's general information. Medications You can view the current medications and medication history of the patient. You can also enter additional prescriptions and reconcile the listed medications with the actual active medications. Reason for Visit You can document the reasons for the patient's visit. Vital Signs You can document and manage the patient's vital signs. History Summary You can document the patient's problem list and social, medical or surgical, diagnostic study, and family histories.
