Configuring Immunizations

On the Immunizations Configuration template, you can add immunizations to your inventory.

You can use the Immunizations Configuration template to add immunizations to the main inventory. You can also configure the administration codes for billing the COVID-19 vaccines. The First Databank drug database is used for storing immunizations.

The following table describes the panels on the Immunizations Configuration template.

Immunization Inventory Set-upYou can use this panel to add, update, and delete immunizations from the immunization grid, and send them to the main inventory. You can import a list of immunizations using a CSV file path, or manually add the details using the fields below the immunization grid. You can also configure the automatic provider sign-off.

To add immunizations to the immunization grid, you must add the corresponding National Drug Codes (NDC) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes in your Service Item (SIM) library, and you must have the latest update from the First Databank drug database.

Administration CodesYou can use this panel to configure the administration codes for billing the COVID-19 vaccines. You can also configure the administrative billing override functionality.
