Access the ASC - Pre admission Template

The ASC - Pre admission template allows the clinical support staff to review details entered by the schedulers in the ASC - Screening Questions template and follow-up on the flagged questions. To access the ASC - Pre admission template, click the Nursing tab available for the Procedure Preadmission visit type. Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery Template

The Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery template of the Procedure Preadmission visit type displays the data documented in the previous and/or current encounter by the scheduler or clinical support staff in the ASC - Scheduling Questions and ASC - Pre admission templates. This home page also displays the data documented by the provider and nurse in the framework template sets of the Procedure visit type, when the case ID of the encounters is same. Click the home icon on the navigational bar to access the Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery template. The scheduler or clinical support staff can review the documented data by the provider and proceed with the workflow in the ASC- Scheduling Questions template or ASC - Pre admission template. Interview Questions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Interview Questions panel displays the scheduling questions associated with the procedure. When the procedure is selected in the Procedure panel, the grid in the Interview Questions panel populates with the screening questions pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Interview Questions If you wish to ask patient the scheduling questions associated with a particular section, click the Section field above the grid. The questions associated with the selected section appear in the grid for selection. The Question field contains the first question available in the grid and the corresponding options for the answer appear in the Answer field. The questions and the associated answers are configured on the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Patient Pre Admission Instructions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel displays the patient instructions associated with a procedure and a section. In addition to the pre-configured default instructions, when you answer a scheduling screening question associated with the section on the Interview Questions panel, the configured patient instruction for the selected answer appears in the grid on the Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel. The pre-admission instructions are pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Chart Check Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Chart Check panel displays the tasks based on the procedure, section, and the answers selected for the screening questions. Chart Check When you select a procedure in the Procedure panel, the tasks associated with the selected procedure appear in the grid. These tasks are configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template based on a procedure. You can filter the tasks associated with a section from the Section field above the grid. Access the Template Set Associated with the Procedure Preadmission Visit Type

The Procedure Preadmission visit type includes a framework template set that enables scheduler or clinical support staff to document the pre-admission details required prior to beginning a procedure. Note: Virtual visits use the same template set as the Procedure Preadmission visit type. The instructions provided for the Procedure Preadmission visit type in the following sections are also applicable for virtual visits. If you have not configured the Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery template to open as the default template for a new encounter, perform the following steps to access the template set associated with the Procedure Preadmission visit type.
