Patient Pre Admission Instructions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel displays the patient instructions associated with a procedure and a section. In addition to the pre-configured default instructions, when you answer a scheduling screening question associated with the section on the Interview Questions panel, the configured patient instruction for the selected answer appears in the grid on the Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel. The pre-admission instructions are pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Chart Check Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Chart Check panel displays the tasks based on the procedure, section, and the answers selected for the screening questions. Chart Check When you select a procedure in the Procedure panel, the tasks associated with the selected procedure appear in the grid. These tasks are configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template based on a procedure. You can filter the tasks associated with a section from the Section field above the grid. Procedure Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Procedure panel enables you to add the details of procedure(s) to be performed on the patient. The procedure details documented in the Procedure panel appear in the Reason for Visit panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template of the Procedure Visit Type. The ASC Scheduling Questions template is documented by the scheduler by obtaining necessary information from the patient prior to the day of procedure. The Scheduler contacts the patient to obtain the information required to appropriately schedule the patient for the procedure. Document the Interview Questions Panel

Expand the Interview Questions panel. The Allergies link opens the Allergies module. For more information, see Add the Allergy Details in Medication Allergies Module. The Medications links opens the Medications module. For more information, see Document the Patient's Medications. In the Answer field, select the appropriate answer for the question available in the Question field. An asterisk (*) appears to the left of the selected answer. Enter any Comment for the question being asked. You can enter comments without selecting an answer for the question. An alert message appears if the question is associated with an alert. Review the alert message and click OK. Note: An alert is pre-configured for the question in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Configuration for Scheduling Documentation

The ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template is used to configure screening questions, tasks, and patient instructions for scheduling documentation. The template is packaged with preset options for the Ambulatory Surgery (ASC) Specialty.
