Patient Pre Admission Instructions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel displays the patient instructions associated with a procedure and a section. In addition to the pre-configured default instructions, when you answer a scheduling screening question associated with the section on the Interview Questions panel, the configured patient instruction for the selected answer appears in the grid on the Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel. The pre-admission instructions are pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Interview Questions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Interview Questions panel displays the scheduling questions associated with the procedure. When the procedure is selected in the Procedure panel, the grid in the Interview Questions panel populates with the screening questions pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Interview Questions If you wish to ask patient the scheduling questions associated with a particular section, click the Section field above the grid. The questions associated with the selected section appear in the grid for selection. The Question field contains the first question available in the grid and the corresponding options for the answer appear in the Answer field. Procedure Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Procedure panel enables you to add the details of procedure(s) to be performed on the patient. The procedure details documented in the Procedure panel appear in the Reason for Visit panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template of the Procedure Visit Type. The ASC Scheduling Questions template is documented by the scheduler by obtaining necessary information from the patient prior to the day of procedure. The Scheduler contacts the patient to obtain the information required to appropriately schedule the patient for the procedure. Configure Chart Check Tasks

The Pre Admission Chart Check panel includes a Section filter to view only the chart check tasks in the grid associated to the selected section name. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Pre Admission Chart Check panel, click Section to choose a value from the resulting list. To associate a new section, double-click the top-blank row in the list and type in the Section field. Click Task to type a value. To associate Patient Instructions to the current task, click Instructions to select an existing instruction to associate with the current task. To remove values from the fields and start over, click Clear. Click Add. In runtime, the configured chart check tasks appear in the Chart Check panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions and ASC - Pre admission templates. Set Up New Preadmission Interview Questions

In the Interview Questions panel, you can configure the scheduling screening questions. You can also associate chart check tasks and/or patient instructions with the screening questions. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template , Interview Questions panel, click the Section field to choose an option from the resulting list. If the available options are not relevant, double-click the top-blank row in the list to type a new value in the Section field. Click the Question field to type a new question. Click the Answer Type field to select one of the options. Note: If you select the Picklist option , the Answer, Value type, and Alert text fields are available, otherwise, these fields are not applicable and are not available. For all answer types, to indicate that the current answer is one that will require follow-up actions, select the Flag for review check box.
