Change Status of the Existing Task

Select the Enable grid row select to change the status check box. The Update and Remove buttons are not available. Click the applicable task in the grid. The Status column in the grid displays Completed for the selected task. If you click the same task in the grid again, the status changes to Not applicable. If you click the task for the third time, the Status column clears the status. To manually select the status of a task in the grid, Clear the Enable grid row select to change the status check box. The Update and Remove buttons activate. Select a task in the grid. The task details populate in the corresponding fields above the grid. Click Status and select the appropriate status. Click Update. The Status column in the grid populates with the selected status. To remove a task details from the grid, select a row in the grid and click Remove. After you complete changing status of the task, select the Sign off check box. The Completed by field populates with the user name logged on to t

Add a New task

Click the Section field and select a section from the list. If the options in the list are not appropriate for selection, double-click the top-blank row in the list and enter a section in the Section field. Enter a Task for the patient. Click Status and select the status of the task. Click Add. The new task appears in the grid. Click Clear to clear the data from the fields without saving into the grid. To filter the tasks based on the sections, click Section and select a section from the list. The tasks associated with the selected section appear in the grid. After you complete adding tasks, select the Sign off check box. The Completed by field populates with the user name logged on to the system. Modify an Existing Procedure Details

Select a row from the grid in the Procedure panel. The selected data populates in the corresponding fields. Note: The Site field is unavailable for modification. Make relevant changes in the applicable fields. Click Add/Update. The modified data updates in the grid. The changes also update in the grid in the Reason for Visit panel. Note: If you modify the procedure details in the Reason for Visit panel, the changes also update in the Procedure panel. Select a row in the grid and click Remove, to remove a procedure data from the grid. Note: When a procedure is removed from the Procedure panel, the system also deletes the procedure details from the Reason for Visit panel. Edit Pre-Admisson Chart Check Tasks

On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template , Pre Admission Chart Check panel, select a row in the grid. The fields above the grid populate with the corresponding data. Perform a Follow-up on the Interview Questions Panel

In the Interview Questions panel, the clinical support staff performs a follow-up on the flagged questions. For information on follow-up questions, see Interview Questions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template. In the Interview Questions panel, select the applicable or flagged question. The selected question appears in the Question field and the answers configured for the selected question appear in the Answer field. Note: If the scheduler has addressed the selected question on the ASC - Scheduling Question template, an asterisk (*) appears next to the selected answer in the Answer field. If applicable, select or modify the answer for the question. The selected answer appears in the grid. If configured on the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, an alert message appears for the appropriate action. Click Save & Next. Update a Task

You can update or edit a configured task. On the Tasking Configuration practice template, expand the Tasks panel. Select the task from the main grid. The task information appear the fields below the grid. Fields to enter the task details in the Tasks panel Note: You cannot edit Call Name and Call Description fields. Update the following information as needed: Subject Description Due Date Priority Attach Item Current Template: Choose this option if you want the task to attach the template associated with the selected task. Template: Choose this option and select a template from the field picklist if you want the task to attach a template other than the one associated with the selected task. Click Add-Update.
