Interview Questions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Interview Questions panel displays the scheduling questions associated with the procedure. When the procedure is selected in the Procedure panel, the grid in the Interview Questions panel populates with the screening questions pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Interview Questions If you wish to ask patient the scheduling questions associated with a particular section, click the Section field above the grid. The questions associated with the selected section appear in the grid for selection. The Question field contains the first question available in the grid and the corresponding options for the answer appear in the Answer field. The questions and the associated answers are configured on the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Chart Check Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Chart Check panel displays the tasks based on the procedure, section, and the answers selected for the screening questions. Chart Check When you select a procedure in the Procedure panel, the tasks associated with the selected procedure appear in the grid. These tasks are configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template based on a procedure. You can filter the tasks associated with a section from the Section field above the grid. If you answer a scheduling question on the Interview Questions panel, the task configured for the selected answer also appears in the Chart Check panel grid. ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The ASC Scheduling Questions template is documented by the scheduler by obtaining necessary information from the patient prior to the day of procedure. The Scheduler contacts the patient to obtain the information required to appropriately schedule the patient for the procedure. Modify a Patient Instruction

Select a patient instruction in the grid. The fields above the grid populate with the corresponding data. Make relevant changes to the instruction and click Update. The modified pre-admission patient instruction updates in the grid. To remove a pre-admission instruction from the grid, select a row and click Remove. The Patient Instructions button generates the pre-admission patient instruction document. The document includes procedure, scheduling screening questions, and pre admission patient instructions details. You can print the document for a reference and provide a copy to the patient. Set Up Patient Instructions for Pre-Admission

The Patient Instructions panel includes a Section filter field above the grid to filter the instructions. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Patient Instructions panel, click Section, and then choose a section from the list. If the available sections are not relevant, double-click the top-blank row in the list to type the section name in the Section field. In the Patient Instruction field, enter the instructions to be associated with the selected section. To remove the values from all fields and start over, click Clear. Click Add. The configured pre-admission patient instruction appears in the grid. In runtime, the configured pre-admission instructions appear in the Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel on the ASC - Pre admission template. Associate Procedures to Patient Instructions

On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Procedure Association panel, Content Type filter, select Patient Instructions. Click Procedure to select a value from the resulting list. Click Section and select from the list. To clear the chosen section and start over, click Section again and select the top-blank row in the list to type a name in the field. Click the Instruction field to open a list of patient instructions associated with the selected section. The instructions are configured in the Patient Instructions panel. To clear the values from all fields and start over, click Clear. Click Add. Save the practice template.
