Document Medications Module

The Medications module enables you to prescribe, print, fax, and e-prescribe (requires enrollment) patient medications.

  1. In the Interview Questions panel, click the Medications link.
    The Medication Module window opens.
  2. Click Prescribe New.
    The Medication Search window opens.
  3. In Find, enter the partial or full name of the medication to be prescribed to the patient and click Search.
    A list of medications matching the search criteria appears in the left pane.
  4. Select a medicine from the list and click Select to return to the Medications module.
  5. Enter the Sig, Quantity, Refills, and Start date from the corresponding list.
  6. If this medication is prescribed elsewhere, select the Prescribed elsewhere check box and enter the source in the Source field.
  7. Click Accept.
  8. Close Medication Module window.
