General Panel on the ASC - Postprocedure Template

The General panel is used to document the physician or clinician name who submitted the report and recovery admission time. General Panel The Allergies link opens the Allergies module to document the allergies details. The Medications link opens the Medications module to enter patient's medication details. Medications Panel on the ASC - Intake Template

The patient's medication details documented on the ASC -Scheduling Questions template or ASC - Pre admission template appear in the Medications panel of the ASC - Intake template. For information on the Medications module documentation, see Medications Module. The intake staff reviews and makes the necessary changes to the patient's medication details as appropriate on the ASC - Intake template. You can view the patient's active medications and the medications prescribed, modfied, and renewed during the selected encounter in the Medications panel. You can enter additional prescriptions for the patient, and reconcile the medications listed with what medications the patient is actually consuming and how the patient is consuming them. The No medications this encounter check box selection is encounter-based. If you select the No medications this encounter check box for a previous encounter and prescribe medication in a current encounter by selecting the Prescribed Elsewhere check box, then

Pre-Procedure Care Panel on the ASC - Preprocedure Template

The Pre-procedure Care panel is used to document patient's Consent, Bill of Rights, preferred language, pre-procedure checklist, and any lab and/or medication details. The Allergies link opens the Allergies module to document the allergies details. The Medications link opens the Medications module to enter the patient's medication details. If the case ID of the encounters is the same, the details documented in this panel in the current encounter carry forward to the next encounter. Interview Questions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Interview Questions panel displays the scheduling questions associated with the procedure. When the procedure is selected in the Procedure panel, the grid in the Interview Questions panel populates with the screening questions pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Interview Questions If you wish to ask patient the scheduling questions associated with a particular section, click the Section field above the grid. The questions associated with the selected section appear in the grid for selection. The Question field contains the first question available in the grid and the corresponding options for the answer appear in the Answer field. The questions and the associated answers are configured on the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Set Up New Preadmission Interview Questions

In the Interview Questions panel, you can configure the scheduling screening questions. You can also associate chart check tasks and/or patient instructions with the screening questions. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template , Interview Questions panel, click the Section field to choose an option from the resulting list. If the available options are not relevant, double-click the top-blank row in the list to type a new value in the Section field. Click the Question field to type a new question. Click the Answer Type field to select one of the options. Note: If you select the Picklist option , the Answer, Value type, and Alert text fields are available, otherwise, these fields are not applicable and are not available. For all answer types, to indicate that the current answer is one that will require follow-up actions, select the Flag for review check box. Set Up Interview Questions with Display Criteria

In the Additional Question Display Criteria panel, you can configure criteria to display additional questions in the Interview Questions panel. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Additional Question Display Criteria panel, click Group Name to select from the resulting list. To add a new group name, double-click the top-blank row in the list and type in the Group Name field. Note: Additional questions are configured in the Additional Questions to Display panel. Click Section and select a section having a list of questions configured in the Interview Questions panel. Click Question and select a question from the list of questions associated with the selected section. Click Answer and select an answer from the list of answers associated with the question. To remove the values from all fields and start over, click Clear. Click Add. The documented details appear in the grid.
