The ASC - Pre admission template allows the clinical support staff to review details entered by the schedulers in the ASC - Screening Questions template and follow-up on the flagged questions. Access the Template Set Associated with the Procedure Preadmission Visit Type

The Procedure Preadmission visit type includes a framework template set that enables scheduler or clinical support staff to document the pre-admission details required prior to beginning a procedure. Note: Virtual visits use the same template set as the Procedure Preadmission visit type. The instructions provided for the Procedure Preadmission visit type in the following sections are also applicable for virtual visits. If you have not configured the Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery template to open as the default template for a new encounter, perform the following steps to access the template set associated with the Procedure Preadmission visit type. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template.
