Summary Panel on the Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery Template

The Summary panel displays the details documented by the scheduler, clinical support person, and provider in an encounter. The grid includes a list of categories in the left pane to select and view the documented data. The categories in the left pane can be added or deleted using the Framework Content system template. For more information on how to configure the categories in the left pane of the Summary panel, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Framework Content System Template forNextGen®Adaptive Content Engine. Some of the categories include filters at the top of the grid, allowing you to filter and review the required data. The data in the grid is view-only, that is, you cannot edit or delete data from the grid. Summary To view or review the patient's medical chart summary, select the required link in the left pane. Add a Patient Recall

Click Add to open the Patient Recalls template. Patient Recall Click When or Date field to select an interval or a specific date. Click Appointment Type and select a type of appointment from the list. Click Reason and select the reason for scheduling the appointment. Enter any Comments. Select the Sign off check box. The system populates the Completed by and Date fields with current user logged onto the systems and the current date. The Tickler Dept Use Only section allows you to use the recall plan as a tickler file to send out reminder notices to patients. After you select the required recall plan details from the fields in the Tickler Dept Use Only section, click the Update PM button. The recall plans updates in the NextGen® Enterprise PM chart. Note: A patient must have a NextGen® Enterprise PM chart before you can use a Recall plan. You must create the Recall plan in File Maintenance and the Event in the NextGen® Enterprise PM.
