The Procedure panel enables you to add the details of procedure(s) to be performed on the patient. The procedure details documented in the Procedure panel appear in the Reason for Visit panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template of the Procedure Visit Type. Interview Questions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The Interview Questions panel displays the scheduling questions associated with the procedure. When the procedure is selected in the Procedure panel, the grid in the Interview Questions panel populates with the screening questions pre-configured in the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. Interview Questions If you wish to ask patient the scheduling questions associated with a particular section, click the Section field above the grid. The questions associated with the selected section appear in the grid for selection. The Question field contains the first question available in the grid and the corresponding options for the answer appear in the Answer field. Use the General Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

The General panel enables you to document general information on the procedure such as scheduled date and time of the procedure, location where the procedure is to be performed, and the rendering provider, specialty physician, and/or anesthesia provider involved during various stages of procedure. Select the Established patient or New patient option. General Panel If applicable, click the Historian field and select the historian providing the information on the patient's medical condition. Click the following fields and select appropriate providers from the corresponding list: Rendering provider Primary specialty physician Anesthesia provider To clear the values from the provider fields, double-click the blank space in the respective list.
