You can use the Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) in NextGen® Mobile to review and resolve PAQ items received from NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
You can view PAQ items by selecting
PAQ on the
Hub view or from the job list. You can sort the list to switch between newest or oldest items. You can use the PAQ filters to view the required items.
Note: The PAQ window is available only if the PAQ is configured for the clinic’s NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
NextGen® Mobile supports the following PAQ items:
- Lab orders
- NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents
- Images
- NextGen® Document Management scanned items
- SAP® Crystal Reports®
You can view a PAQ item, and do the following:
- Sign off on the item
- Open the patient chart from the item
- Reject or reassign the item
- Add a note to the item
- Create tasks for yourself or other users from the item
Note: You cannot create tasks for reports created with SAP® Crystal Reports®software.
- Sign off on the item with one or more of the following actions:
- Open the patient chart after signing off on the PAQ item.
- Assign the PAQ item as tasks to one or more users or work groups after signing off.
- Assign one or more signees added by a primary provider to sign off on NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents.
