Select Action Sets or Actions to Create Tasks with Sign Off
Before you begin
You can assign Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) items as tasks to one or more users or work groups after signing off the items.
Note: You cannot create tasks for SAP® Crystal Reports®.
- Open NextGen® Mobile.
The Hub view opens.
- Select PAQ, and then select an item from the list.
The PAQ item opens.
- Select Sign w/ action.
The list of available action sets appears.
- Select Launch Sign Off With Actions.
The Sign Off With Actions window opens.Note: You can select Sign off without Actions on the Sign Off With Actions view to sign off the PAQ item without any actions.
- Do one of the following:
- To sign off with task creation option, select Task 1, Task 2, or both.
Note: The options Task 1 and Task 2 are not available in the following conditions:
- When you do not have the necessary permissions for creating tasks in Admin Console.
- When the PAQ item is SAP® Crystal Reports®.
- To sign off using an action set, select Select Action Set, and then select the action set that includes creating tasks as one of the actions.
If you have selected an action set, the Sign Off With Actions window displays the details of the action set as configured in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.For action sets without any data, you must enter the task details. If there are no default recipients, Tap to Add appears in the Recipient(s) field.
- To sign off with task creation option, select Task 1, Task 2, or both.
- Select the desired priority.
Normal is selected by default.
- To add task recipients, select Tap to Add or the recipient name in the Recipient(s) field.
The Select Recipient(s) window opens.
Any default recipients appear in the Selected Recipients field. You can remove or add recipients.
- To add recipients, do one of the following:
- If available, select a recipient from Favorites.
- In Search, enter three characters and select one or more recipients from the list in TOP NAME MATCHES.
- Select Done.
The task recipients appear as Recipient(s) in the Sign Off With Actions view.
- Select Run.
If the action set contains only supported items, the sign off process completes and assigns tasks to the selected recipients. If the action set contains unsupported items, a message appears stating that there are one or more unsupported actions, and NextGen® Mobile can run only supported actions.
- To complete the sign off, assign tasks, and run other supported items, select Continue.
- To return to the PAQ item without running the supported actions, select Cancel.
