Select Action Sets or Actions for Sign Off

Before you begin

You must be a NextGen® Enterprise user to sign off Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) with actions in NextGen® Mobile.

You can take one or more of the following actions while signing off a Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) item:

  • Open the patient chart
  • Add one or more signees to sign off NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents
  • Add one or more users or work groups as task recipients
  1. Open NextGen® Mobile.
    The Hub view opens.
  2. Select PAQ, and then select an item from the list.

  3. Select Sign w/ action.
    The list of available action sets appears.

  4. Select Launch Sign Off With Actions.

  5. Do one of the following:
    • To sign off with one or more actions, select the actions.
    • To sign off using an available action set, select the action set from Select Action Set.
    If you have selected an action set, the Sign Off With Actions displays the details of the action set as configured in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.

  6. To clear selected actions, select Clear.
  7. Edit the fields for any changes.
    If you select a different action set, a message appears for confirmation. You can select Continue to proceed.
  8. Select Run.
    If the action set contains only supported items, the sign off process completes. If the action set contains unsupported items, a message appears stating that there are one or more unsupported actions and NextGen® Mobile can run only supported actions.
  9. To complete the sign off and run supported items, select Continue.
  10. To return to the PAQ item without running supported actions, select Cancel.
