Before you begin
To assign a
Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) item to another provider for approval, you must confirm that you are the primary provider responsible for the item.
You can assign NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents to another provider for approval.
- Open NextGen® Mobile.
The Hub view opens.
- Select PAQ, and then select an item from the list.
- Select Sign w/ action.
The list of available action sets appears.
- Select Launch Sign Off With Actions.
The
Sign Off With Actions window opens.
Note: You can select Sign off without Actions on the Sign Off With Actions view to sign off the PAQ item without any actions.
- Do one of the following:
- To sign off with add signees option, select Add Additional Signees.
- To sign off using an available action set, select Select Action Set, and then select the action set that includes an action for adding signees.
The
Sign Off with Actions window opens. If there are no default signees,
Tap to Add appears in Signee(s).
- Select Tap to Add or the currently assigned signee.
The
Select Signee(s) window opens.
- Do one of the following:
- Locate, and then select a signee from Available Signees.
- In Search, enter three characters and select one or more signees from the list that displays in TOP NAME MATCHES.
- Select Done.
The assigned signee appears in
Signee(s) in
Sign Off With Actions.
Note: If Add Additional Signees is turned on, you must add at least one signee to proceed with the sign off process.
- Select Run.
If the action set contains only supported items, the sign off process completes and the item is assigned to one or more signees for their sign off. If the action set contains unsupported items, a message appears stating that there are one or more unsupported actions, and
NextGen® Mobile can run only supported actions.
Note: If you are not the primary provider and have set signees, a message appears stating that additional signees cannot sign off and add signees.
- To complete the sign off, add signees, and run other supported items, select Continue.
- To return to the PAQ item without running the supported actions, select Cancel.
