Create Tasks from PAQ Items

You can create tasks from a Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) item and send to one or more users, or work groups. When you create a task from a PAQ item, the task is automatically added to the patient and the PAQ item is included as a task attachment. Open NextGen® Mobile.The Hub view opens. Select PAQ, and then select an item from the list.The PAQ item opens. Open PAQ item Select New Task.The New Task window opens. New task view The patient is added to the task and the PAQ item is included as an attachment. To add task recipients, select To, search for and then select the recipients from the Favorites list. Note: You can add one or more users or work groups. If your task includes a lab order as an attachment, you must assign recipients as your delegates in NextGen® Enterprise EHR to view the attachment. Select the Subject field, and then enter the subject for the task. To select the due date, select Due Date, and then select a date. In Priority, select a priority.Normal is selected by def

Manage PAQ Actions

Open NextGen® Mobile. The Hub view opens. Select PAQ, and then select a item from the list. The PAQ item opens. PAQ item To open the patient chart, select Chart. The Patient Chart view opens. To sign off a PAQ item, select Sign off. The current item is removed from the PAQ list and the next item opens. To sign off a PAQ item with an action, select Sign w/ action, and then select the necessary action. To reject a PAQ item, select Reject, enter your comment, and then select Reject. The current item is removed from the PAQ list and the next item opens. To reassign a PAQ item, select Reassign, and then select a contact from the Reassign window. The system reassigns the item to the selected contact and the item appears on the contact's PAQ list. The reassigned item is cleared from the window and the next item opens. To add notes to the PAQ item, select Comment, enter the note, and then select Add Note. If notes are already added to the PAQ item, you can review them, and then select Add Note

Sign Off PAQ Items Directly with Actions

Before you begin You must be a NextGen® Enterprise user to sign off Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) with actions in NextGen® Mobile. You can take one or more of the following actions while signing off a Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) item: Open the patient chart Add one or more signees to sign off NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents Add one or more users or work groups as task recipients Open NextGen® Mobile.The Hub view opens. Select PAQ, and then select an item from the list.The PAQ item opens. Open PAQ item Select Sign w/ action.The list of available action sets appears. Add Signees with Direct Sign Off of PAQ Items

Before you begin To assign a Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) item to another provider for approval, you must confirm that you are the primary provider responsible for the item. You can assign NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents to another provider for approval. Open NextGen® Mobile.The Hub view opens. Select PAQ, and then select an item from the list.The PAQ item opens. Open PAQ item Select Sign w/ action.The list of available action sets appears. The list of available action sets Note: Action sets that contain only unsupported actions are not available for selection. Unsupported actions in an action set are not run on the PAQ item. Select the action set to add signees.If the action set contains only supported items, the sign off process completes and the item is assigned to the default signees.
