Generating Reports

The reports in the NextGen® Medication Inventory Control help you to manage your inventory. You can generate SAP® Crystal Reports® in the Reports panel on the MLTS Reports template. You can run reports for: Inventory on Hand Recall Receipt Transfer Usage Waste Expiring Medications Low Quantity Medications Transaction Restock Each report has different criteria that you can set using the MLTS CR Reports Prompts template, to narrow the report down to what you are looking for. Criteria include: locations, sub-locations, source types, medications, National Drug Codes (NDCs), lot numbers, and so on. Note: To view the Sub-Location grids on the Crystal Reports viewer, you must enable sub-locations in the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel on the Admin Configuration system template. Medication Picklist Template

Each of the panels in the Medication Picklist template has grids that correspond to picklists on configuration templates or medical record templates. Use the grids to configure the picklists for managing inventory and administering medications. Managing Medications in the Inventory

You can search for the medication inventory, view inventory details, and manage non-vaccine medications in the inventory. On the Inventory Management template, in the Medication Inventory panel, you can search for the medication inventory and view inventory details. The total number of items in the medication grid and the total quantity of the non-vaccine medications appear in the Grid Count and Grid Total fields respectively. You can also add, waste, adjust, and transfer non-vaccine medications in the medications grid. You can use the fields above the medication grid to filter medications based on a filter criteria. The filter criteria are specific to the selected location and sub-location, and the Sub-Location field appears only if it is configured in the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel on the Admin Configuration template. Transfer Information Panel

Use the Transfer Information panel to transfer medications from one inventory to another. Transferred medications appear in a holding grid where you can check them into inventory, return the medication, or waste the medication. Transfer Medications You can transfer non-vaccine medications between inventories of different locations. Check In the Transferred Medications You can check in the medications that are transferred from other location and received in your location. Return a Transferred Medication You can return the medications that are transferred to your location from another location of your practice.
