Search for a Patient and Update Email and Mobile Number

You can use the search filters on the Patient Search page in Practice Portal to search for active and inactive NextGen® PxP Portal patients. Log on to Practice Portal. On the My Home page, in the left pane, select Patient Search.The Patient Search page opens. The Patient Search page provides options for filtering your search To define the scope of your search, enter the values in one or more of the filters, then select Search for Patient.The Search Results section displays the patients matching your search criteria. You can select a patient to view the Patient Dashboard. Note: You can select New Search to reset your search criteria. The Search Results page displays the name, social security number, birth date, and email address for each matching patient To update a patient email or mobile number, do the following: In Patient Dashboard, select Edit next to Mobile Number or Email, make the necessary changes, and then select Save. View Online Payment Transactions

You can search for and view all the Medfusion Pay and Online Bill Pay payment transactions that the practice has submitted through Practice Portal. Log on to Practice Portal. On the My Home page, in the left pane, select Online Payment Search.The Online Payments section displays the search criteria. The Online Payments section displays search criteria such as the date and time, location, credit card type, and payment type To define the scope of your search, enter values for one or more of the fields in Online Payments. The Patient Dashboard page enables you to review and update a patient's information. You can open the Patient Dashboard page from the patient search results on the My Home page. Pay Bills from NextGen® PxP Portal

Before you begin Ensure that the Online Bill Pay solution is enabled in Site Generator. To pay online, NextGen® Pay provides patients with many options that work together with your clinical portal solutions. NextGen® Pay has the following features for payment: Merchant Account enables the overall processing of payment transactions based on practice, location, or provider accounts at the time of configuration. Online Bill Pay enables patients to set up a portal account and pay bills from within the patient portal using any device. PayNow enables payments without logging on, either from the portal landing page or through a link on your practice website, where patients can quickly pay their bills without logging on to their portal account. eStatements (if applicable) reduces billing costs by displaying eStatements to the patient in all NextGen® Enterprise payment UI (user interface) workflows. Patients can make the following payments directly. Online bill payment after logging on to NextGen® PxP Portal. Online payment without logging on to NextGen® PxP Portal through Pay Now. Pre-check payments. The practice portal staff can make the following payments on behalf of the patient. One time payments from Practice Portal. Budget payments from Practice Portal. CAUTION: To ensure that the payments from patients reach NextGen® Enterprise PM, you must configure the transaction code in Practice Preferences. A payment made through NextGen® PxP Portal is electronically transmitted to NextGen® Enterprise PM.
