Create NextGen® PxP Portal Account

Patients can create a NextGen® PxP Portal account from the logon page on their own. On the NextGen® PxP Portal logon page, select Create a new account.The Patient Information page opens. Patient Information page Enter the details, and then select Next.The Create Security Details page opens. Account security information page Enter the details and then select Verify.The Verify Multi-Factor Authentication page opens. Enter the verification code you received from the email or text message, and then select Verify.The NextGen® PxP Portal account is activated and the NextGen® PxP Portal home page opens. Select Continue.

Activate NextGen® PxP Portal Account

When a patient visits a practice, the practice creates a patient account in NextGen® Enterprise EHR or NextGen® Enterprise PM and sends the enrollment invitation to the patient's registered email. If the mobile number is available, the invitation is also sent through a text message. The patient must activate the NextGen® PxP Portal account to access their health records and communicate with their practice. From the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment email or text message you received, select Sign Up or copy and paste the URL into your browser.A verification page opens. Enter your ZIP code and date of birth, and then select Continue.The Create Security Details page opens. Update Account Details

You can change your Practice Portal account email, password, and secret question. Log on to Practice Portal. Do one of the following: On the My Home page, in the left pane, select My Account. In the upper-right corner of the Practice Portal page, select My Account . The Change password section appears. The Change Password section prompts you to enter the old and new password, as well as challenging you to enter characters from an image To change your password, email, or secret question, fill in the required fields and submit your changes. Search for a Patient and Update Email and Mobile Number

You can use the search filters on the Patient Search page in Practice Portal to search for active and inactive NextGen® PxP Portal patients. Log on to Practice Portal. On the My Home page, in the left pane, select Patient Search.The Patient Search page opens. The Patient Search page provides options for filtering your search To define the scope of your search, enter the values in one or more of the filters, then select Search for Patient.The Search Results section displays the patients matching your search criteria. You can select a patient to view the Patient Dashboard. Note: You can select New Search to reset your search criteria. Enroll as Guardian to Link Dependent Patient

Before you begin Ensure that the patient or the person has received an email from the practice inviting them to create a NextGen® PxP Portal guardian account. A patient or person can enroll themselves as the guardian to access and manage a dependent NextGen® PxP Portal account. The patient or person must link the guardian portal account to the dependent's NextGen® PxP Portal account. In the invitation email received from the practice, select Sign Up!. The Please Identify the Patient page opens. Patient verification page Enter the dependent patient's zip code and date of birth. Select Continue. The Welcome window opens. Do one of the following: If the guardian already has a NextGen® PxP Portal account, enter the username, password, and relationship with the dependent patient, and then select Enter Portal. If the guardian does not have a NextGen® PxP Portal account: Enter the first name, last name, email address, and relationship with the dependent patient, and then select Continue. The
