Activate NextGen® PxP Portal Account
When a patient visits a practice, the practice creates a patient account in NextGen® Enterprise EHR or NextGen® Enterprise PM and sends the enrollment invitation to the patient's registered email. If the mobile number is available, the invitation is also sent through a text message. The patient must activate the NextGen® PxP Portal account to access their health records and communicate with their practice. From the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment email or text message you received, select Sign Up or copy and paste the URL into your browser.A verification page opens. Enter your ZIP code and date of birth, and then select Continue.The Create Security Details page opens. Account security information page Enter the details and then select Verify.The Verify Multi-Factor Authentication page opens. Enroll as Guardian to Link Dependent Patient
Before you begin Ensure that the patient or the person has received an email from the practice inviting them to create a NextGen® PxP Portal guardian account. A patient or person can enroll themselves as the guardian to access and manage a dependent NextGen® PxP Portal account. The patient or person must link the guardian portal account to the dependent's NextGen® PxP Portal account. In the invitation email received from the practice, select Sign Up!. The Please Identify the Patient page opens. Patient verification page Enter the dependent patient's zip code and date of birth. Select Continue. The Welcome window opens. Do one of the following: If the guardian already has a NextGen® PxP Portal account, enter the username, password, and relationship with the dependent patient, and then select Enter Portal. If the guardian does not have a NextGen® PxP Portal account: Enter the first name, last name, email address, and relationship with the dependent patient, and then select Continue. The

Enroll as a Trusted Representative
Before you begin The trusted representative must have received an invitation from an adult patient. In the invitation email, select Sign Up!. The Please Identify the Patient page opens. Patient verification page Enter the zip code and date of birth of the patient, and then select Continue. The Welcome! page opens. Do one of the following: If the trusted representative already has a NextGen® PxP Portal account, enter the username, password, relationship with the patient, and then select Enter Portal. If the trusted representative does not have a NextGen® PxP Portal account: Enter the first name, last name, email address, relationship with the patient, and then select Continue. The Create Security Details window opens. Account security information page Enter values in the fields and select Enter Portal. Add Users to the NextGen® PxP Portal
Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Personnel (Non Physicians) > Add Personnel. The Add Personnel page opens. Under Personal Information, enter details for the personnel. Under Permissions and Proxy Information, select Copy Initial Permissions From and Copy Proxies with Permissions. Under Login Information, enter user ID and password you want to create for yourself. Log on to Practice Portal
You can enter your user ID and password to securely log on to Practice Portal. Open Practice Portal. Select Sign in to Practice Portal. The Secure Practice Portal Login page opens. Enter your Practice Portal user ID and password, and then select Login. The My Home page opens. The My Home page shows recent activity and provides links for patient search, online payment search, account information, and logout Note: The information that appears on Practice Portal depends on your account's access rights. Configuring Trusted Representatives for a Patient
To verify the linked dependent and trusted representatives for a patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account, you can use the Family Management section on the Patient Dashboard. You can also configure the access rights for trusted representatives on behalf of the patient.
