Viewing and Updating Patient Information

The Patient Dashboard page enables you to review and update a patient's information. You can open the Patient Dashboard page from the patient search results on the My Home page. Invite a Trusted Representative

Before you begin The modules for a practice must be activated on the Manage Your Online Solutions page in Site Generator. By default, a trusted representative receives complete access to the patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account. You can specify the active modules for a practice that can be accessed by a trusted representative. Log on to Practice Portal. To open the Patient Dashboard page, search for and select a patient. In the Family Management section, select Invite New.The Family Management section provides a list of trusted representatives, as well as options to unlink each one or send a password reset The Invite Trusted Representative page opens. The Invite Trusted Representative page prompts you to enter contact information and manage access for the representative Enter the first name, last name, email, mobile number, and relationship of the trusted representative. Linking Accounts with Guardians and Trusted Representatives

Practices can assign a guardian to access and manage a dependent's portal account if the guardian's portal account is linked to the dependent's portal account. The practice sends an invitation to the guardian's email address to create a guardian account. Adult patients can assign a trusted representative to view their health information and act on their behalf in NextGen® PxP Portal. The patient sends an invitation to the trusted representative's email address to create a trusted representative account. Practices can send invitations automatically to patients or guardians and choose not to send invites to patients in a specific age group. Note: Patients of any age range can also choose to enroll manually. Trusted Representatives for a Patient

A trusted representative is a person assigned to view the health information and act on behalf of an adult patient in NextGen® PxP Portal. The patient must send an email invitation to the assigned representative to create a trusted representative account. The patient initiates the access and monitors the trusted representative's account completely. A trusted representative can do the following: View the messages of the patient. Create an Ask a Question category. Reply to messages from the practice on behalf of the patient. View the health record data of the patient. Invite Trusted Representatives An adult patient can send an invitation to a representative to create an account as a trusted representative in NextGen® PxP Portal. Enroll as a Trusted Representative A patient or person invited by an adult patient can enroll as a trusted representative in NextGen® PxP Portal. Change Access Rights of Trusted Representatives Patients can modify the access rights of their trusted representative

View Age-out Report

Age-out Report is a report of all the patients who have reached the age-out age. You can use the report to send invitations to the age-out patients and update the details in their NextGen® PxP Portal account. Log on to Practice Portal. Select Family Management. The Family Management page opens. The Family Management page displays an Age-out Report section where you can filter on status, decision-making capacity, and birth date To define the scope of your search, enter values for one or more filter options, and select Search. Edit Access Rights for a Trusted Representative

Log on to Practice Portal. To open the Patient Dashboard page, search for and select a patient. In the Family Management section, select Edit Access beside the trusted representative that you want to edit.The Family Management section includes an Edit Access link for each representative The Manage Access page opens. Select one of the following permissions for the trusted representative: View and perform actions. For complete access to all modules. Manage access per category. For access to selected modules.
