Viewing and Updating Patient Information

The Patient Dashboard page enables you to review and update a patient's information. You can open the Patient Dashboard page from the patient search results on the My Home page. The Patient Dashboard page displays the following information: Demographics Family management Patient utilities Completed forms Recent encounters Viewing Patient Demographics You can view the general information of a NextGen® PxP Portal patient. View Patient Activation Reports

The Patient Activation report provides details of all outgoing NextGen® PxP Portal invitations during a specific period. This report includes data about the number of invitations sent per day, successful activations, and failed invitations. Log on to Practice Portal. Select Patient Activation. The Patient Activation page opens displaying the Patient Reports section. The Patient Reports section displays options for grouping or filtering information by date In Group By, select the grouping period for the report. From Filter By Date, select the date range for generating the report. You can search up to a maximum of three months of invitations at one time. Select Filter Patient Invitations. The Report Results section displays all the invitations that the practice has sent during the selected period. Configuring Trusted Representatives for a Patient

To verify the linked dependent and trusted representatives for a patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account, you can use the Family Management section on the Patient Dashboard. You can also configure the access rights for trusted representatives on behalf of the patient. Find and Send Invites to Patients Previously Under a Guardian

Before you begin Ensure that all of the email addresses are updated from "aged-out@nextgen.com" to the patient's actual address. In NextGen® PxP Portal, select the Family Management tab. Select Age-out Report. The Age-out Report page opens. In the Status field, select Aged-out. Indicate the patient's decision-making capacity. In DOB before, select the date of birth, and then select Search. The search results list patients whose date of birth precedes the selected date. Select Invite corresponding to the patient name. Alternatively, you can send the enrollment invitations individually by selecting Send post age-out invite from the patient dashboard. Managing Accounts for Guardians and Trusted Representatives in Practice Portal

Practice can invite guardians and trusted representatives for patients using the Family Management section in Practice Portal. Practices can also edit the access rights of a trusted representative on behalf of a patient. Practices can manage the following types of patients using the Patient Dashboard in Practice Portal: Inactive Underage Patient This type of patient is not old enough to age out, and the patient's parent or guardian has not completed the enrollment using the invitation email. The Patient's age is under the age-out age configured for this practice icon indicates that the patient is not old enough to age out. Active Underage Patient This type of patient is not old enough to age-out, and the patient's parent or guardian has accepted the invitation and activated the account. Your practice can manage the following scenarios associated with an active account for an underage patient: If the guardian has a NextGen® PxP Portal account, your practice can view the guardian patient

Utilization Reports

The Utilization Report is a graphical representation of data that you can use to examine the efficiency of the NextGen® PxP Portal website. You can also track the activity of providers and staff who are communicating and responding to queries from patients. You can view data for either all locations or specific locations. The Utilization Report dashboard presents updated and real-time data. You can view the report on a quarterly, monthly, weekly, or daily basis. You can print and export the report for further usage. For example, you can view the following: TOTAL PORTAL PATIENTS: Shows the number of patients who have registered for NextGen® PxP Portal through invitation or creating an account. VIEW LAST 12: Provides the option to view the data for the last 12 quarters, months, weeks, or days. TOTALS BY SOLUTION: Displays the utilization summary for all enabled Online Solutions.
