Patients can view a pending balance, store payment methods, view statements (when enabled), and view their payment history for transactions submitted through NextGen® Office Patient Portal, PayNow, NextGen® Patient Engage, and NextGen Virtual Visits™ (as applicable by practice).
A receipt appears stating the payment successfully processed. The receipt can be emailed or printed.

View and print your receipt here. You can view the previous payments made through in the
NextGen® PxP Portal Payment History tab.
Note: If there is no patient responsibility amount in NextGen® Enterprise PM, the Billing page reflects there is no due balance. By default, patients are not able to submit a payment when no balance is due. While NextGen® Pay powered by InstaMed does offer a configuration for a practice who desires patients make advance payments for things like elective surgery, currently there is no way to display this balance to patients for payments.
Note: When patients pay their entire balance, or a portion of it, the change in balance will not be displayed on the user interface until the amount is applied to the guarantor account in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
