NextGen® Patient Engage powered by Luma provides the following
NextGen® Pay options to collect payments from a patient before a visit:

Collect balance payments and co-pay

The balance payment and co-pay amounts are displayed to patients. The completed payments are automatically batched to NextGen® Enterprise PM. Co-pay payments are also automatically batched to NextGen® Enterprise PM as unapplied encounter credits when the encounters associated with the specific appointment IDs are created.

Collect only balance payments

The balance payments are displayed to patients, who can make either a full or partial payment. Completed payments are automatically batched to NextGen® Enterprise PM as unapplied account credits. You can collect the co-pay amount in the office when the encounter is created during the check-in process.

Collect only co-pay

Co-pay payments are automatically batched to NextGen® Enterprise PM as unapplied encounter credits when the encounters associated with the specific appointment IDs are created.
You can request payments by sending payment links to patients to collect the following type of payments from
