Manage Budget Payment Plans

NextGen® PxP Portal enables practices to set up a payment plan for a patient, which automatically charges the patient's credit card on file for a set amount at scheduled payment intervals. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest User Guide for NextGen® PxP Portal Pay. You can search for, view, and manage the budget payment plans for the patient. Log on to Practice Portal. Select Online Bill Pay. The Pay My Bill Online page opens. In the left pane, select Budget Payment Plan Search. The Search Budget Payment Plan section appears. The Search Budget Payment Plan enables you to enter search criteria and displays search results To define the scope of your search, enter values in one or more of the fields in Search Budget Payment Plan. Select Search. Budget payment plans matching your search criteria appear. You can export the results in CSV or PDF format. Search for a Patient and Update Email and Mobile Number

You can use the search filters on the Patient Search page in Practice Portal to search for active and inactive NextGen® PxP Portal patients. Log on to Practice Portal. On the My Home page, in the left pane, select Patient Search.The Patient Search page opens. The Patient Search page provides options for filtering your search To define the scope of your search, enter the values in one or more of the filters, then select Search for Patient.The Search Results section displays the patients matching your search criteria. You can select a patient to view the Patient Dashboard. Note: You can select New Search to reset your search criteria. The Search Results page displays the name, social security number, birth date, and email address for each matching patient To update a patient email or mobile number, do the following: In Patient Dashboard, select Edit next to Mobile Number or Email, make the necessary changes, and then select Save. Search for Completed Custom Forms

You can search for and view the custom forms that patients have completed in NextGen® PxP Portal. Log on to Practice Portal. Select Custom Forms. The Custom Forms page opens. The Search Patient Forms section appears by default. The Custom Forms page presents a Search Patient Forms section To define the scope of your search, enter values for any of the available filters, and then select Search. A list of patient forms matching your search criteria is displayed. For each patient form, the list includes the name, completion date/time, location, status, and a link to details Optional: To print multiple forms together, select the forms, and then select Print Selected Forms. Search for Patient Invitations

You can search for all patient invitations for a specific period. Log on to Practice Portal. Select Patient Activation. The Patient Activation page opens. The Patient Activation page displays the Patient Search link in the left pane In the left pane, select Patient Search. The Patient Search page opens. The Patient Search section enables you select filter criteria and also displays results from the search To define the scope of your search, enter the values in one or more of the filters, and select Filter Patients. The Search Results section displays the patients matching your search criteria. Optional: To view the details of a patient's invitation, select the invitation. The Patient Dashboard lists the patient's completed forms and recent encounters. Optional: To resend any invitations, select Re-send Invitation(s). Search for Patient Messages

You can search for all patient messages that your practice has created during a specific period. You can also view the message history and edit and complete messages. Log on to the Practice Portal. Select Patient Messaging. The Patient Messaging page opens displaying the Search Patient Messages section. The Search Patient Messages section enables you to filter messages by status, message name, creator, creation date, message type, or template To limit the scope of your search, enter values for one or more of the items in Search Patient Messages. Select Filter messages. The messages matching your search criteria appear. Optional: To view the details of a message, select the message's row. The message details appear. You can stop sending the message or delete the message. The Message Details section displays details such as the subject, delivery mode, message type, and recipients. Viewing the Payment History

You can view the payment details of a patient from the PAYMENT HISTORY tab. Like the BALANCES tab, the PAYMENT HISTORY tab also contains the Provider list when more than one merchant is associated with a practice. Note: At this time there is no payment history included for payments made outside the integrated PxP applications, such as those processed in-office through a staff member. Payment History tab If the patient wants to search for a specific date parameter, they can use the date picker in the top right-hand corner of the tab. They can choose the date range by either using the calendar or manually entering the dates. The application automatically fills the appropriate date format if the patient enters the dates manually. If a patient selects any of the payments listed in the payment history, the payment receipt opens, and the patient can email or print the receipt.
