Configuring Settings for Radiology Tests

You can configure picklists and settings for various radiology tests. You can use the Radiology Configuration practice template for configuring general radiology settings, picklists, standard radiology tests, provider custom tests, and provider custom multi-test groups. Radiology Configuration template The Radiology Configuration template is preloaded with the radiology codes. You must ensure that the radiology codes are configured in the service item (SIM) library for the practice to bill them. Assessment Configuration

You can configure diagnosis groups and codes for patient's assessment on the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template. you can also manage financial class and payers that accept ICD 9 codes on this template. Common Assessment Configuration

You can use the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template to build assessment pages with diagnosis groups on the Assessment Configuration template. These pages are accessed throughout the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates to add diagnoses to the patient’s history grids. You can set default pages based on rendering provider or practice, and copy assessment pages to another practice or provider. Tasking Configuration

You can setup and maintain all the tasking (both manual and automatic) on the Tasking Configuration practice template. The top grid of the template displays all the built tasks and all the data associated with them. This grid shows both manual tasks and tasks that are sent automatically based on triggers set in specific template fields. Cast and Splint Configuration

You can configure cast and splint application codes and supply codes used throughout the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates from the Cast & Splint Configuration practice template. You can also enable waterproofing and tie it to specific casts, as well as set a default for the number of rolls used on a specific cast on the Cast & Splint Configuration practice template. Note: The Cast & Splint Configuration template comes pre-loaded with the existing cast and splint codes. These codes need to be built in the SIM Library for the practice to be able to bill for these items. This template has Cast & Splint and Waterproofing panels.
