Exclusions and Inclusions

You can use the Exclusions and Inclusions panel to: Set fields that are excluded from QuickPick sets Enable or Disable Get Data functionality Set fields that are included in Get Data Note: As a default, the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite sets all patient-specific information such as diagnosis, timeframe, and so on as excluded from QuickPicks. Exclusions and Inclusions panel on the QuickPick Manager template Setup the Fields to be Excluded from QuickPick If you do not want to save the data of a particular field as a QuickPick, you can add that field to the exclusion list. Managing QuickPicks

You can manage QuickPicks and their preferences for the rendering provider, system sets, and other providers. You can use the Specialty QuickPick Manager template to manage QuickPicks and their preferences. Specialty QuickPick Manager The Specialty QuickPick Manager template has the following panels: Double-Star Settings. You can configure QuickPicks that are viewable when you click the double-star icon and select which security groups can manage QuickPick system sets. QuickPicks. You can manage QuickPicks. Managing QuickPicks

The Specialty QuickPick Manager template is an additional way to add or update or delete QuickPicks from the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates. Most therapists will build and manage their quickpicks from the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates and not from the configurations, however this is an additional option if your therapists have access to the system/practice level templates. Specialty QuickPick Manager template The template has the following panels: Double-Star Settings. You can configure QuickPicks that are viewable when you select the double-star icon. You can open the Specialty QuickPick Manager template from the specialty configuration homepage. On the Specialty Config Home template, select QuickPick Manager from the left navigation bar. QuickPicks

Use the QuickPicks panel to manage specific fields on QuickPicks, and to copy QuickPick sets. You can filter the QuickPicks set grid by category, set name, or provider. Selecting a QuickPick in the grid shows the table, field name and default values for that QuickPick in the larger grid below.
