Managing QuickPicks

The Specialty QuickPick Manager template is an additional way to add or update or delete QuickPicks from the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates. Most therapists will build and manage their quickpicks from the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates and not from the configurations, however this is an additional option if your therapists have access to the system/practice level templates.

The template has the following panels:

• Double-Star Settings. You can configure QuickPicks that are viewable when you select the double-star icon. You can also select which security groups can manage QuickPick system sets.
• QuickPicks. You can update and delete QuickPicks.
• Exclusions & Inclusions. You can set fields that are excluded from QuickPicks, and you can manage the Get Data functionality, which allows users to pull data forward from a previous encounter for that patient.
• QuickPicks Tracking. You can view and track the usage of QuickPicks by provider or by encounter number.
