Open the Specialty QuickPick Manager Template

You can open the Specialty QuickPick Manager template from the specialty configuration homepage. On the Specialty Config Home template, select QuickPick Manager from the left navigation bar. The Specialty QuickPick Manager template opens. Select the Product field, and select one of the following options from the list. IORTS. Managing QuickPicks for Providers and System Sets

You can manage QuickPicks that are available for providers and system sets. On the Specialty QuickPick Manager template, in the QuickPicks panel, you can manage QuickPicks that are already saved for providers and system sets. You can filter the values in the QuickPicks grid by category, set name, or provider by selecting the desired values in their corresponding fields. Selecting a QuickPick entry in the grid shows the table, field name, and default values for that QuickPick in the table grid. QuickPicks You can do the following in the QuickPicks panel. Track QuickPicks

Track QuickPicks Track QuickPicks You can view and track the details of QuickPicks that are used on various templates. On the Specialty QuickPick Manager template, in the QuickPicks Tracking panel, you can view and track the usage of QuickPicks. You can filter the grid to show all QuickPicks for a selected provider, show only a specific QuickPick usage, or show all QuickPicks for an encounter number. On the Specialty QuickPick Manager template, expand the QuickPicks Tracking panel. To filter the QuickPicks based on the provider's name and set, do the following: Select the Provider option. A window opens for selecting the provider, and the Set field appears. Select a provider name, and select OK. Note: To view QuickPicks for all providers, you can select the asterisk (*). The selected provider name is filled in the Provider field, and a window opens for selecting the set name. Select a set name, and select OK. Managing Exclusions and Inclusions

You can manage the Get Data functionality and the fields that are excluded from QuickPicks. You can use the Exclusions and Inclusions panel of the Specialty QuickPick Manager template to do the following: Set fields that are excluded from QuickPicks Manage the Get Data functionality Set fields that are included in the Get Data functionality Note: The details that are saved for QuickPicks are also used as a part of Quick Visits. A Quick Visit is a group of QuickPicks used to fill information with minimal clicks for subsequent patient visits that have the same chief complaint. Exclusions and Inclusions The Exclusions and Inclusions panel has the following sections: Fields to EXCLUDE from QuickPicks. You can manage the fields that need to be excluded from QuickPicks. By default, all patient-specific information such as diagnosis and timeframe are excluded from QuickPicks. Fields to INCLUDE in Get Data. Manage Fields to be Excluded from QuickPicks

You can manage the exclusion list, which contains the fields that are excluded from QuickPicks. If you do not want to save the data from a particular field of a template as a QuickPick, you can add that field to the exclusion list. You can also delete fields from the exclusion list. NextGen Healthcare recommends you do this setup so that QuickPicks does not include patient-specific data. On the Specialty QuickPick Manager template, expand the Exclusions & Inclusions panel. To add a field to the exclusion list, do the following in the Fields to EXCLUDE from QuickPicks section. Select the field for selecting the table. A window opens for selecting the template that contains the fields to be excluded from the QuickPick. Select the desired template, and select OK. Select the field for selecting the field name. A window opens for selecting the field that needs to be excluded from the QuickPick. Select the field, and select OK. Select Add. The selected field is added to the exclusion list an

You can use the Exclusions and Inclusions panel to: Set fields that are excluded from QuickPick sets Enable or Disable Get Data functionality Set fields that are included in Get Data Note: As a default, the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite sets all patient-specific information such as diagnosis, timeframe, and so on as excluded from QuickPicks.
