Managing QuickPicks for Providers and System Sets

You can manage QuickPicks that are available for providers and system sets. On the Specialty QuickPick Manager template, in the QuickPicks panel, you can manage QuickPicks that are already saved for providers and system sets. You can filter the values in the QuickPicks grid by category, set name, or provider by selecting the desired values in their corresponding fields. Selecting a QuickPick entry in the grid shows the table, field name, and default values for that QuickPick in the table grid. QuickPicks You can do the following in the QuickPicks panel. Open the Specialty QuickPick Manager Template

You can open the Specialty QuickPick Manager template from the specialty configuration homepage. On the Specialty Config Home template, select QuickPick Manager from the left navigation bar. The Specialty QuickPick Manager template opens. Select the Product field, and select one of the following options from the list. IORTS. Configuring QuickPicks Settings

You can configure preferences for QuickPicks that open when you click the double-star icon. You can use the Double-Star Settings panel of the Specialty QuickPick Manager template to configure QuickPicks listed on the window that opens on clicking the double-star icon on the QuickPick toolbar. Double-Star Settings Using the options, you can select preference to display system sets, QuickPicks saved by other providers in the practice, or both. Manage System Set Authorized Groups

You can manage security groups that can save QuickPicks as system sets. On the Specialty QuickPick Manager template, expand the Double-Star Settings panel. To authorize a security group for saving QuickPicks as system sets, do the following in the Manage System Set Authorized Groups section. Select the field for security group name, select the desired security group from the Security Groups window, and then select OK. Select Add. The selected security group is added to the grid. Note: While saving a new QuickPick on the applicable medical record templates, the System Set checkbox appears for the members of the authorized security group. To delete an authorized security group, do the following in the Manage System Set Authorized Groups section. Select the security group to be deleted from the grid. Select Delete. Managing QuickPicks

The Specialty QuickPick Manager template is an additional way to add or update or delete QuickPicks from the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates. Most therapists will build and manage their quickpicks from the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates and not from the configurations, however this is an additional option if your therapists have access to the system/practice level templates. Specialty QuickPick Manager template The template has the following panels: Double-Star Settings. You can configure QuickPicks that are viewable when you select the double-star icon. You can also select which security groups can manage QuickPick system sets. QuickPicks. You can update and delete QuickPicks. Exclusions & Inclusions. You can set fields that are excluded from QuickPicks, and you can manage the Get Data functionality, which allows users to pull data forward from a previous encounter for that patient. Double-Star Settings

Use this panel to set which QuickPicks are viewable in the INF Td Set Filter picklist that opens when you click the double-star icon (Double star icon) on the QuickPick tool bar, and to select which security groups can manage QuickPick System Sets. Using the options, you can choose to display system sets, QuickPicks saved by other providers in the practice, or both.
