Common Assessment Configuration

You can use the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template to build assessment pages with diagnosis groups on the Assessment Configuration template. These pages are accessed throughout the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates to add diagnoses to the patient’s history grids. You can set default pages based on rendering provider or practice, and copy assessment pages to another practice or provider. The Common Assess Config template has two panels: Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links Manage Common Assessments . Common Assess Config template Note: Make sure to select IORTS in the Product field for any assessment configuration related to NextGen® Orthopedic Suite. Billing Configuration

You can configure the following billing related settings on the Billing Configuration practice template. Procedures Configuration

You can build procedure pages and groups in the Common Procedure Configuration practice template. These pages are accessed throughout the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates to add procedures to the patient’s history. You can set default pages based on the rendering provider or practice, and you can also copy procedure pages. Open the Diagnosis Group Configuration Template

You can open the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template from the specialty configuration homepage. On the Specialty Config Home template, select Assessment from the left navigation bar. The Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template opens. Select the Product field, and select one of the following options from the list. IORTS. Select this option to configure settings for NextGen® Orthopedic Suite. MLTS. Select this option to configure settings for NextGen® Medication Inventory Control. Managing Diagnosis Groups and Codes

You can create diagnosis groups and assign them to the diagnosis groups in the Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel of the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config practice template. The NextGen® Orthopedic Suite comes with some pre-configured diagnosis groups. Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel on the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template Create a Diagnosis Group Copy a Diagnosis Group You can copy an existing group to create a new diagnosis group.
