Edit Streaming Dictation in the Text Box
Before you begin
Note: You can edit the dictated note using keyboard and verbal commands when the transcription system processes and completes the transcription of the dictated note.
- Open NextGen® Mobile.
- Open a dictation job.
The streaming text box opens displaying the Record Dictation message.
- Record your dictation.
The dictation text is processed, and the text box displays the refined note with the Transcript Complete! message.
- View the dictation text in the text box.
You can use vertical scrolling for long text that extends beyond the text box's view.
- On the text box, select the location where you want to add or change text.
- To edit dictation, do one of the following:
- Use the keyboard to delete or insert text.
- Use NextGen® Mobile verbal commands to edit a text.
- Select a word or a block of text, and use the commands on the context menu to edit text. The context menu contains useful commands to work with text, such as Copy, Cut, and Paste.
