Edit Streaming Dictation in the Text Box

Before you begin To view the dictation text box, you must turn off the Hide Streaming Text option in Settings. Note: You can edit the dictated note using keyboard and verbal commands when the transcription system processes and completes the transcription of the dictated note. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open a dictation job. The streaming text box opens displaying the Record Dictation message. Record your dictation. The dictation text is processed, and the text box displays the refined note with the Transcript Complete! message. View the dictation text in the text box. You can use vertical scrolling for long text that extends beyond the text box's view. On the text box, select the location where you want to add or change text. To edit dictation, do one of the following: Use the keyboard to delete or insert text. Use NextGen® Mobile verbal commands to edit a text. Select a word or a block of text, and use the commands on the context menu to edit text. The context menu contains useful commands

NextGen Mobile Dictation Streaming Workflow

With NextGen® Mobile dictation streaming, you can do the following: Dictate your job with or without displaying the streaming text. You can edit the dictated note using keyboard and verbal commands when the transcription system processes and completes the transcription of the dictated note. If you have macros set up for your dictator profile, you can use them to quickly insert snippets of text into your dictation. You can attach images to your job. You can make annotations on the attached images and add text boxes to the images. When you are ready to transmit your job, you can select an edit option that controls how your job is handled when you transmit it, and whether it returns to you for additional review. You can choose from several clinical workflow options, including sending to NextGen® Enterprise EHR, sending to transcription, or performing a device edit. Documenting SOAP Clinical Notes

In Today's Visit in Patient Chart, you can select Dictate to document and complete clinical notes. In Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP) Notes, you can dictate your notes using a microphone, add blocks of text with documentation accelerators like Copy Forward or Macros, or enter and edit notes using a keyboard. On completing the SOAP notes, you can send the notes to NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Today's visit view You can use SOAP Settings to modify your SOAP sections in SOAP Note. Install and Set Up NextGen® Direct-to-Desktop

Before you begin To use Direct to Desktop in NextGen® Mobile, you must be a NextGen® Mobile plus user. You can install NextGen® Direct-to-Desktop (D2D) on your desktop and set up Direct to Desktop in NextGen® Mobile to dictate text directly into desired locations. Note: The NextGen® Mobile plus users can use the Direct to Desktop functionality in NextGen® Mobile version 9.0.0 or later. Note: For hosted clients, the clinic's IT team or the NextGen Hosting Services team must install NextGen® Direct-to-Desktop on the terminal servers where NextGen® Enterprise EHR is installed. Users can open NextGen® Direct-to-Desktop on the available terminal server and pair with NextGen® Mobile. NextGen® Direct-to-Desktop saves the pairing records per user log on and desktop.
