Troubleshooting Patient Lookup Issues

When you search for a patient or person while connected to an external system, such as the EMPI Query Interaction System (EMPI QIS), you can encounter any of the following scenarios:

• Patient information does not exist in theNextGen® Enterpriseor external system
• Patient information is found in only one system
• Patient information is found but not linked in both systems
