Data Share Module Log Files

The the Data Share module maintains a log of related events and archives the log file whenever the file size reaches 2 MB. As all files are encrypted, you must view them using the Log Viewer in the Data Share module .

The current log file is named EhrNextGen.log. The log file path is \NextGen\LogFiles on the drive where the Data Share module is opened, for example, C:\NextGen\LogFiles. If the folder does not exist, it is automatically created.

  • Search Log Files You can search the Data Share module log files to find specific information by date range, level, or message content.
  • Export Log Files In the Data Share module log viewer, you can export a log file or the results of a log file search to a comma-separated values (CSV) file, text file, or Microsoft Excel® file (if Excel is installed).
